It started well with a win in the heats (2:14.70) taking her to the final, to be run the next day, 9th Feb.
All eyes were on Mollie here from the commentary team at EIS Sheffield. After the early lead was taken elsewhere l, Mollie began to come through the field and looked for a strong finish, battling with another for the order of medalling positions.
She clocked a fantastic 2:12.33, taking a national bronze medal, and breaking her own U17W 800m indoor club record in the process.
A strong performance before this weekend @keelyklassic where she goes again in the National 800m U17W race once more.
