LWAC were well represented throughout the day in all areas. Despite the weather, and other events taking place (such as EIS Sheffield, Northern Indoor meet) where we performed admirably, we showed up and showed the country what we’re made of! We get knocked down, we get straight back up! 
In the U11B, Ned Ronnie finished in 51st place as the sole Welly in the category 
the U13G saw Amelie Ronnie add to an impressive season with a 9th place finish! 
the boys of the same age group featured Harry Watson and Charlie C Johnson, placing 49th and 66th respectively 
and the only U15 represented was Florence Lilly, breaking into the Top 50!

In the U17W, we once more showed everybody our strength in depth, and level of competition. @xellarose_whitworthx finished 6th overall (1st U17W) in the race which also had the U20W! Unfortunately, she was told swiftly that she can’t be selected for the U20 European squad, despite placing in the Top 6, due to her age! To go up against athletes 3 years her senior and do that @_faithtaylor4 was hot on her heels and a fixture of the infamous quartet within Welly at this level, only seconds behind in 6th place herself 
with the U20W also running this race, @indiabarwell finished in 9th place and continues to build on a great 2024. The U20M saw @hsammoo sit in 101st place overall.

The U20M saw @hsammoo sit in 101st place overall.@matthew_bowser_mb_run_coach continued to show us his ability mixing it with the very best in the country for the senior men, completing the race in 46th place, even after a fall! A great effort 
And last but not least, the senior women laced up with both of our athletes looking to finish near the front with European qualification on the line, having both returned recently from injury. @soph_w91 looked composed and strong throughout, leading her to a brilliant 8th place, amongst the very best the Britain has to offer. @abbie.donnelly came across the line in 4th to gain automatic qualification to the @britishathletics @teamgb squad once more, in Antalya
