About:
The Lincoln Wellington 5K Race Series is returning for 2026.
Thank you to Lincs Van Hire (www.lincsvanhire.co.uk) for their support of the Lincoln Wellington AC 5K Race Series.
The series will be held at Yarborough Leisure Centre Athletics Track, Riseholme Road, Lincoln, LN1 3SP.
2026 race dates:
- 26th May
- 30th June
- 28th July
- 25 August
Start times:
- 1K and 3k races start at 6.30pm
- Memory Mile starts at 7.00pm
- 5k race starts at 7.30pm
Important Info:
- The Series is run on a relatively flat, traffic free route, which has resulted in some fast times in the past with most 5K races being won in sub15. The event incorporates a 5K Series, a 3K and 1K Junior Series and a Memory Mile Series.
- A £1 donation from ALL entry fees this year will go to the Alzheimer’s Society.
- The option for paying for the full series is available offering all 4 races for the price of 3. You can also enter single races. There may be limited spaces available for entry on the night for the 5K, Memory Mile and 3K races.
- Race Numbers are to be collected from the Race HQ at the Sports Hub on the evening of the event.
Age criteria for series:
- 1K – Under 11
- 3K – 9 and over, U13, U15.
- Memory Mile – 9 and over
- 5K – 15 and over, Senior, Vet
