What’s even more impressive may be the fact that his Marathon PB comes from Manchester Marathon in 2022, with a time of 2:18:01!

Which still stands as an LWAC club record!The sub-30 minute 10k runner has an impressive CV, ranking 9th V35M in the country over the marathon this year, however his PB betters 4 of the group above him 
Time for perspective for us mere mortals. That’s 5:24/mile for 26.2 miles. Or, in new money, 3:21/km for 42.2km! Will then hit the final checkpoint-finish at 4:09/mile (or 2:35/km) pace to bring it home. Tired yet? 
This isn’t the end of getting all you Welly’s caught up with our summer successes, so expect plenty more over the coming weeks, before we collate and celebrate on an already stonking opening weekend to our Cross Country season.
